Whoever came up with that idea, was as delusional as that statement.
Let’s take a deep dive, shall we:
1: The missed opportunities
We’ve all (at one point or another) been aware of opportunities that arose, but we blatantly disregarded them for one reason or another. Think about where that could have led you if you just took the chance.
2: Decisions
Many, and I mean many, individuals make decisions without considering the consequences of their actions. When you are not conscious of your decision-making, you shouldn’t be making those decisions at all because you are missing key information.
3: Ignoring the real problem
Health concerns are one of the most ignored issues that individuals disregard. “If we pretend it’s not there, everything will be okay.” Unfortunately, that is not how this works. Ignoring the problem most times leads to harsher consequences. It’s better to face the issues head-on while it’s still ‘fixable.’
On the flip side, sometimes ignorance is bliss for our mental health. It’s not a bad thing per se, but it’s also unhealthy to live this way.
We’ll talk soon,
Sweet T.
