As a seasoned traveler, this particular travel season was rather rough for me personally.
So here’s three things I’ve learned that helped lesson the pain a little:
1: Medications
If you’re taking multiple medications before your flight, please ensure that you space them out. Especially if one of those medications is for motion sickness.
2: Delay Your Trip
If you’re sick, don’t tough it out and get on the plane. I promise you’ll only feel worse once you land, and it’s not worth the gamble, regardless of how much it will cost to catch the next plane.
Money comes back, health does not.
3: Plus One
Pack an extra set of clothes in your carry-on. Especially if you’re traveling internationally, it will save your life.
We can’t control how our luggage gets to its destination, but we can control what we carry with us to our destination.
Traveling is not easy. I promise that some days will be better, while others will be the worst. But push through and remember that you’re stronger than you believe. You’ll persevere.
We’ll talk soon,
Sweet T.
