Another week, another Wordless Picture Book review!
We all know and love the tale of The Lion and The Mouse as children.
This book by Pinkney is astounding, with the illustrations tying into the message and theme of the story. No wonder this book is also a Caldecott Medal winner for its unique rendition.
I recommend this book for our younger readers who can’t quite grasp the concept of regular books their age. With this book, you can also guide them in their complex thinking while retelling a story we all know and love.
Not only will the children love the message behind this story, but they will also love the way Pinkney illustrated the entire book.
