Here’s the thing. Everyone thinks they need to be someone in this timeline.

I, personally, believe people need to start being less.

Here’s why:

1: Less is More

Most times, people believe you need to maximize your day. Meaning, you should be doing something at all times of the day and if you’re not, then you’re falling behind in life.

DO NOT BELIEVE THAT.

Everyone is running their own marathon. The people that you see maximizing their day, were once moving through the motions to understand where they wanted to go in life.

Doing too much is more harmful at times than doing less.

2: Quality over Quantity

This runs on the less is more content. We live in a time where movement is at a constant, and in return, we try to produce more.

Stop doing that.

Focus on the quality of what is coming from your work. When we rush and would rather have more output, there is not much quality in what we’re doing. Whether it’s baking or building a business. Quality lasts longer than quantity.

3: Perspective

Perception is biased. We see people who are living their best luxury life and we see those who are living a more ‘normal’ life. Living a ‘normal’ life where you are focusing on your peace rather than adding the extra chaos to create a luxury lifestyle does not mean you need to add more to look like you’re more than another.

We’re all human.

Focus on how you want to perceive your life. By the time you realize you’ve created the dream life you wanted, you will be following your own set of rules, and others will be focused on you rather than the other way around.

On the contrary, it’s normal to want more; to be, to want, to achieve more. Though there is a very distinctive line on being more just to be more, and producing more by focusing on the quality of what you are creating.

We’ll talk soon,

Sweet T.
