I know our bodies tell a different story than what we feel.

However, we need to learn how to not let that stop us from trying new things.

When you tell yourself you’re old, you’ve already lost the battle.

So what happens when we continuously tell ourselves we’re young, regardless of our age?

1: The Psychological Quest

Believing you’re young will help to boost the perception in which you view yourself. This essentially leads to slowing the cognitive decline when you actively view aging positively.

The best way to live longer is to think healthier.

2: Physical Demands

Viewing aging in a positive light helps in keeping your body active and essentially will keep it strong.

3: Time for Experiences

Viewing aging in a positive light means you’re never too old to experience something new. Whether it’s the class you’ve always wanted to try or getting another degree you’ve had your sights on.

Aging does not have to be a bad thing. It will essentially work in your favor once you overcome that obstacle. After all, we only have this life to experience things.

On the contrary, there’s a difference between positive thinking and denial. When you’re in denial, you tend to push your body much further than it’s capable of anymore. Don’t get the two mixed up.

We’ll talk soon,

Sweet T.
