There’s something about Rina Kent’s books that scratches an itch I never knew existed.

This dark sports romance was everything I didn’t know I needed.

Beautiful Venom is a college enemies-to-lovers romance with a twist. We’ve been exposed to Kane in the author’s previous release, Kiss the Villain. And let me tell you, the glimpse we got of him in that story was enough to put me on edge until his book came out!

I tried to read this book slower; I really did. But it was so good and a very different plot line from her other series that I devoured this book within a day. Productivity was scared of me on the release day.

I recommend this book to those seeking a unique sports romance. The author’s writing style underwent a significant transformation (in the best way) with their entry into the dark romance genre. As always, there are darker themes in this book, so please check your trigger warnings.
