Laws can only prevent so much chaos. But the government has the power to stop everything if they start controlling the distribution of the items.

Let’s look at drugs. Cocaine, acid, fentanyl, etc. These are well-known drugs circulating the streets everywhere by a distributor that is less known.

These are facts because skid row is not a fantasy our parents made up. People willingly have access to these substances if they know the right people and have the money to supply their desires from a young age.

But what if we had a solution? What if the government started to supply these substances?

Stay with me.

If the government distributes these substances, they control who gets what amount and when. Essentially, this will prevent the amount of substance one ingests from the start rather than having to experiment with your own body on how much you can tolerate.

It’s not that different from prescribed drugs that help us combat sickness and pain. The only difference is the government legalizing these substances that will never disappear.

Things can’t disappear with a snap of the fingers or a wave of a pen. The reality is that if something is illegal, it makes others want it that much more.

Like fireworks for example in Hawai’i.

Many buy the items in a state they go to and smuggle it into their suitcases, cargo, etc. So why try to get rid of something others already plan to buy either way? Combat it instead.

It won’t eliminate the problem entirely, but it might lower the impact it can cause if left unchecked.
