Foreshadowing is an interesting addition to books. Especially romance books.
It’s a warning or indication about a future event.
Most of the time, when I read romance books, the foreshadowing is subtly incorporated. It’s an I knew it type of moment when I catch the foreshadowing in books.
However, while reading this book, the author gave me a “No way!” moment.
I don’t think I was ready for that foreshadowing to play out, and the recognition from the character when they noticed it might have been her “karma” had given me a pause in the book.
All in all, I really enjoyed how this book was written. It was a great casual read. I recommend this book to those seeking a new perspective on romance. The author’s dedication is poetry; you will be everything to the right person.
Love is complicated. If it were easy, would that really be love?
