Hockey is a sport I steered far away from. I’ve never understood it, nor was I ever interested in the sport.

Well… Until taking a chance on a hockey romance book.

Let me tell you, this was a fantastic opportunity to get a glimpse of hockey as a sport. The banter and the sweets shared are memorable.

The reformed playboy and the softy with a tough exterior. Cliche? Maybe, but the banter and character development was evolutionary.

Carter Beckett is the reformed playboy and captain of the hockey team. Some habits are hard to break, but commitment tells the biggest story. I could have never imagined that I would love ostentatiousness as much as I love Carter.

Loyalty, love and laughter. Three things that embody Carter.

Olivia Parker is our softy in disguise. Honestly, her troubles are valid. If I were in her shoes, I would have doubts far more remarkable than hers. She may have been tiny, but she can definitely hold her own.

If the first interaction between both characters were anything to go by, I knew their relationship would be filled with cheesy lines and quirky date ideas.

Their friend group is also a masterpiece because the banter between everybody is absolutely priceless! Regardless of how cliche it might be, I hope you guys give this book a chance.

It is the stepping stone and foundation of the series.
