Throughout the series, we catch glimpses of Mia and Landon together and separately.

Reading this book in the series was something new that I’ll forever love. Their cat-and-mouse game, banter, and the tension between Mia and Landon will have me on the edge of my seat every time.

I’ll be honest: This book initially threw a curve ball into how I perceive Landon King. We saw glimpses of him in every book, and I was unsure how to feel each time. It was almost as if he couldn’t process his emotions properly.

It was a love-hate relationship, if you will… more towards hate.

Assumptions, misunderstandings, and his psychopathic personality make Landon King the villain we love. Learning sign language, her coffee order, and a new emotion embodied the saying ‘If he wanted to, he would’ to the fullest extent.

We love a self-aware king.

Confident, headstrong, and independent, Mia Sokolov is the muse.

Mia had Landon wrapped around her finger. She ensured nobody would treat her like a second-class citizen just because she was different. Last of all is Landon King.

I will not forget this book, from their meeting to how each character grew in their lives separately and together. It will have a special place in my heart.
