My heart couldn’t handle the emotions of reading this book, and I will forever miss the first time I read it.

Sometimes, we relate to a character because of the joys they experience in life. Other times, we relate to the characters because of their dark side, which is not often highlighted.

Brandon King is such a sweet and caring man. Being different is never bad, it’s the most special thing that can happen in your lifetime. Despite your insecurities, you still braved through the storm and tried to find your happiness.

Those demons are scared of you.

Nikolai fucking Sokolov! The man, the myth, and our grumpy sunshine forever. Taking the world by its balls and squeezing until there’s no life left to give is a surefire way to grab someone’s attention. We can all take notes on being yourself unapologetically.

Despite your own demons, you still fought for those you love, and that will never be overlooked.

When I opened this book, I did not know what to expect, but one thing is certain: It definitely healed something deep within me.

Dark romances are not for the weak. Especially if it’s your first time looking in this type of genre. Although, if it is your first time exploring darker themes in life, I would wholeheartedly recommend this series.

Please check your triggers before reading into dark romance verse. Dark romance is for more mature audiences.

This book will shatter you in one go, but by the end, you’ll be healed in a new way.
